A Friday morning set aside for a Special Topic:
Infants and Children with Special Needs - Helping them get the support they need in these challenging times
Please join us Friday, July 22nd from 9 am and until noon
We will have a panel discussion among three successful advocates for families with infants or children with special needs: Sarah Milko, ED of AutismUp, Kelly Conlon, Family Navigator at the Golisano Autism Center in Rochester; and Emily Mondshein, ED of GiGi’s Playhouse in Buffalo, and state- and nationwide advocate for individuals with Down Syndrome and their families.

- The current landscape of access to services for infants and very young children, and how it has changed in the last two years. This is impacting all of us who work with or on behalf of infants and young children and their families! Families struggle, and we feel like we can never do enough…
- How we can address the significant challenge of waitlists for receiving services
- Is the glass half-full? What is working in supporting families – and families supporting one another - in these difficult times?
As always with Breakfast for Babies, after the panel discussion, you’ll have an opportunity to continue the conversation, and network with your colleagues from across the state.

Breakfast for Babies is a collaborative project of NYS-AIMH and NYZTT, that offers twice-yearly, informal, Friday morning get-togethers that are free* or inexpensive.
Open to all who work with or on behalf of very young children and their families – those who work in childcare and early learning; home visiting; Early Intervention; psychotherapy; child welfare; healthcare; policy and research, and more!
Breakfast for Babies is a time to hear new ideas from experts in our field, and then enjoy rich, small group discussions about those ideas with your colleagues.
